We enjoyed our stay but it was cut short due to illness. Esmeralda and Tuna in reception were great

Wonderful

Had parking close to apartment. Good size apartment, well equipped. Heater in each bathroom. Quiet.

Check in person was polite but a bit condescending. Informed me we were late for the check in hour we had stated (by about an hour!) Really?

Fantastic apartment with the best sea view

Lovely property and complex, within which this apartment feels like a “jewel in the crown!” Really well located with the best sea view you could hope for. Property is spotlessly clean with comfort at every turn and all the facilities you could wish for. An ideal base in a lovely seaside town

The pillows could do with an upgrade - with one exception they were a little thin and hard

Nice apartment, wish dish soap and salt and pepper and soap had been provided. Great location!

Well appointed room. It would be great in the summer with two pools right outside our patio, but unuseable in the cold. Thanks for the birthday wine, delicious and unexected. Nice view, but not the sea view I'd requested. Well located for shopping and restaurants.

The steps were a challenge as was the road to get to the facility.

What was the highlight of Monte Dourado Hotel

Very good location and ideal affordable place to stay for a short holiday.

The property was clean and tidy. It had a lot of kitchen items. The layout was good and spacious. The superior suites had the air con and heaters which were needed especially in February for the colder nights. The outdoor space was really lovely and lots of place to sit and relax with a view into town. The walk into the centre was about 6-8 mins so was an ideal location for walking at night and in the daytime.

There was only one sunbed at this apartment which wasn’t ideal for a family of 4. The property doors were old and only wood was used to lock and secure the doors. This could do with updating. The swimming pool should have been heated but was freezing cold.

Very Good

Central location in a nice village, beach and multiple restaurants at walking distance. Very friendly staff at the reception. Spacious appartment, very tidy, cleaning 3x/week.

10euro per day for a baby cod and a high chair is a high price. We were a bit dissapointed that we only had sun at the balconee the last hour of the day (february). There was also a childrens pool supposed to be heated, unfortunately it was only one deep pool.

Happy to sit on our balcony and enjoy the view over the town and the peace of the 'village'.

Very clear instructions for our late arrival with good directions and map provided.

We could not get some of the electrical equipment to work fully. The heating (aircon) in two of the rooms we could not get to work but this may have been our fault (although we cannot understand that the same instructions worked on some appliances) When reported we had an engineer arrive in just a few minutes.

Very Good

Property was the perfect location to food and the beach. Extremely easy check in and out procedure. Our place backed onto the swimming pool which was great for those laid back days. As a group we also appreciated the games, movies, and books selection.

The washing machine did not seem to have a spin cycle so we rung out the clothes in the sink before hanging them outside (no dryer - but not a problem).

Good value, nice views!

Was a great value, big apartment, comfortable beds, and nice pool! Felt quite clean overall, and although busy, it wasn't very noisy around. Plenty of dishes and things to use, and was nice to get extra towels for the pool.

It's not necessarily bad, but the hotel is at the top of a very large hill and the incline is quite steep, so just to be prepared if you're walking rather than driving! The kitchen wasn't stocked with any cleaning supplies, so we had to buy our own dishwashing soap which I thought was a bit odd. There also wasn't anything like cooking oil or salt and pepper-- kitchen basics, which I understand but was a little annoying. The sofa was also a bit run down and sticky.

It was a good value.

Two separate bedrooms and bathrooms, the location in the town, the view.it was clean and had a kitchen area.

The bathrooms are dated and need to be redone. There is no room to get ready, do your hair, put on your make up. The outlet in the bathroom did not work . The furniture is old and outdated and needs to be replaced.
